Message from our Principal

Last week I was joined by some of our staff who travelled to our sister school in Dubai for our regional education conference.

regional conference

The theme of the conference was wellbeing in schools where the focus was on well-being of students, staff and parents. Key note speeches were interspersed with 42 workshops on a broad range of connected topics.

The life of a teacher during term time is one where we rarely get the opportunity to stop to reflect on our practice and so conferences such as this are so vitally important in allowing our staff to grow and flourish. When interviewing prospective staff for roles at our school we often are told that a key driver in their interest in working with us is the reputation Nord Anglia Education has for developing its staff and providing world class professional development opportunities. More news on our recently hired new staff for September will be released shortly.

Next week we will be circulating a brief parent survey which focuses on communication and events. The survey is intended to take no more than a couple of minutes to complete and I hope that you will understand that the information these surveys generate can really help shape the direction we move in and where we focus our energy in improving our offer and the parent and student experience. May I thank you in advance for the time invested in completing this short survey.
