This year was no exception, thanks to our English coordinator, Mr Barham, and all of the staff who have worked tirelessly to make the week as sensational as it has been. A special thank you to our PTA, who kept our tummies and minds full at the ‘Book and Bake’ sale.
If you have had the chance to pop in to the school this week, you will have enjoyed a magical stroll along the corridor, adorned with charming books jars and story illustrations, before arriving to any number of marevellous story lands lying behind our classroom doors.
Our children have had the opportunity to discuss, share, write and illustrate stories this week. They have delighted in sharing myths from year group to year group whilst sitting around a camp fire and they thoroughly enjoyed the final celebration of the week, the World Book Day parade.
And good news, the week is not over yet! Grab a good book and a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy some much needed relaxation this weekend.
