It was truly heartwarming to see our students so passionate and enthusiastic about their music and dance performances. The quality of each performance was stunning and naming any favourites of mine would not be fair as they all deserve praise. To see 300 students perform during the evening and demonstrating such a broad range of skills was breath-taking, so congratulations to all!
Let’s not forget though that each such great performance required weeks of hard work and preparation from each student. Thank you to all of our music staff who not only helped on Wednesday evening but who have tutored many of our children for weeks, months or years in preparation for the Gala Music Event. Their support and nurturing of the children gave them the belief and confidence to perform so well. A final thank you to the TBS community who came to support the students in the event.
Next week, we look forward to welcoming 12 Nord Anglia sister schools to our Nord Anglia Steam Festival for Europe & Middle East – celebration of 21st century Science at The British School Warsaw.
Parents and families from the TBS community are invited to come see the festival showcase on Friday 14th June from 9.30am-11.00am on the Astroturf, to see the final creations from the talented students after their project day.
Also don’t miss out on the incredible line of speakers at our #NAEInspiredbyMIT Talks on Monday 10th June at 6.00pm and the Dream Big film on Tuesday 11th June - tickets for both events are still on sale at reception right up until Monday 10th June.
We look forward to seeing you there!
