With Tanzania fundraising and planning, ski trips and even a sleep-over for our older primary students in school this evening it has certainly been a busy start to term! At the end of last term I wrote to you asking for your help in completing our annual parent satisfaction survey.
This survey remains open for completion until the end of this month and we really value your feedback in this matter. I have previously spoken and written about how direct examples form the feedback received from the survey has resulted in action in the school. Another example of this is concerning parent voice: feedback from the last survey clearly showed the need for a better form of immediate communication and dialogue between senior staff and parents on a regular basis. We actioned this by starting a new form of parent voice. Last term this began with a series of weekly meetings were parents were invited to come to speak with myself and the Heads of Primary and Secondary who then provided written responses and feedback to all parents in their schools. This has been received with many positive responses and we will continue this throughout this term with another 15 parent voice meetings scheduled in for this term.
Today we started our first parent voice meeting of the term at our Dabrowskiego campus with myself, Ms Parker-McMahon and Mrs Prabhu all in attendance to speak and hear from Dab parents. We value your feedback and I hope that this is another example of how we are actioning your feedback in trying to further.
