International Week

We are excited to end the term with one of our favourite celebrations at TBSW: International Week.

p

Usually this week is marked with parent classroom visits, a parade and (the best) International Fair organised by our fabulous PTA. Unfortunately, we will not be able to celebrate in our usual way this year, but we can guarantee that our students will still have an internationally fun-filled week!

Parents will still be able to take a virtual step inside the classroom to share traditional stories, teach recipes (if you fancy yourself a bit of a Jamie Oliver), show a dance or present fun facts about their home country. Please get in touch with class teachers to book your virtual slot in your child's class.

Teachers will also be inviting parents to join them via MS Teams for a whole class celebration of the week's learning: this is an opportunity to get involved, ask questions, sing, dance and share some of your collective knowledge on the class country.

Children are invited to wear their national dress/home colours on Friday 23rd October as a celebration of their home country. This is always a feast for the eyes, and we love to see the children wearing their traditional clothes with such pride.

We have worked alongside Art Impressions Catering to put together an internationally inspired menu for the week for our students who receive school lunches (menu can be seen below). If you would like your child to have school lunches for the week then please get in touch with Art Impressions via email at tbs2@ai-cateringwarszawa.pl, if not then perhaps use the menu as inspiration for some international gastronomy at home.
