The Pre-Nursery children have enjoyed using their senses to explore the book ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’. In Nursery and Reception the children have been using their own interests to develop their own play and learning. Some children created their own dinosaur land and thought about what resources they would need to make it viable for the dinosaurs to live. In Year 1, the children have enjoyed learning about instructions. They had to make sure they listened carefully so that they could make their own jam sandwich correctly.

We are looking forward to celebrating International Week next week. We have adapted the lunch menu to have an international feel so that the children can experience a variety of foods from around the world. We also look forward to seeing all the children dressed up in their national dress on Friday for a parade.

The teachers are looking forward to seeing you all virtually at parents’ evening next week.

I hope you have a peaceful weekend.
