Message from our Head of Early Years

It has been another busy week of learning for the Early Years children.

The Year 1 children have quickly adapted to Virtual School and using MS Teams. I want to thank you for all your support. The children have shown how adaptable they are. They have enjoyed International Week and found out a great deal of facts about Egypt and compared it to Poland. I have been impressed with the pyramids that have been made.

We have continued to use a variety of technologies this week for parents’ evening and to celebrate International Week. It was a very successful and busy International Week for our children, and we all learned a lot about places all over the world! In Pre-Nursery and Nursery, the children have welcomed family members virtually into the classroom to share stories and information. Thank you to all those who joined us virtually. In Reception, the children learned how to say hello in a variety of languages. They have made flags and compared flags from different countries. The children all looked fantastic on Friday dressed in their national dress.

I hope you have a safe and relaxing half term. We look forward to seeing you on 2nd November.
