Personal Learning Goals: Search for Superheroes

At the start of the year, our search for 8 new PLG superheroes began across primary with our dramatic launch video.

Since then, hundreds of pupils from all year groups have entered their amazing designs for our new superheroes.

These were then carefully whittled down by year group teachers to create a shortlist of pupils. This shortlist was thoroughly discussed by the primary leadership team and after much deliberation we were able to select our runners up and winners.

These winners will now work in collaboration with myself as IPC lead, and some top local art students to clarify and finalise their design before their heroes are ‘brought to life’ in the not too distant future!

The quality of all the entries was superb and it was a really tough decision shortlisting and then deciding on the winners and runners up. I want to congratulate all pupils involved for their efforts, they have shown themselves to be real thinkers, resilient designers and great communicators, able to share their ideas clearly and effectively.

I want to recognise the following pupils for their wonderful efforts in becoming runners-up in our ‘Search for a Superhero’ competition. Each pupil will receive a certificate to mark their efforts.
