Message from Our Head of Secondary

One of the best outcomes, if there can be one, of these pandemic times, is having been able to connect virtually with so many parents.

British school standard

Our virtual Academic Review Day, Parent Voice and Parents in Partnership sessions have seen phenomenal uptake.  It is clear from the numbers of parents in attendance that to participate online is very convenient for you.  The ultimate goal of any of these sessions is to ‘inform’. Through the Academic Review Day we have been able to inform you and your children about attainment and progress, through the Parent Voice forums you are able to inform us of your views, opinions and suggestions and the Parents in Partnership sessions give us the opportunity to update and inform you of specific areas of our provision. All in all, a wonderful way to engage each other during such difficult times.  At one point this week, we have had over 65 parents joining a session and we thank you for supporting us by joining.

Below are the sessions still to come, please do let us know if there is anything in particular that you wish to hear from us about. Parent Voice will continue next term to maintain these vital connections and, who knows, perhaps some will be face to face as well!

The over-arching priority for any engagement with you as parents, is always child-centred. We continuously commit to ensuring that the best interests of every student in our school is kept at the centre and absolute focus of all that we do.

Have a lovely weekend,

Alison Fox
