Year 2 Music Class – Holiday Joy

Online lessons have significant challenges, particularly for the more practical subjects such as music.

The TBS Warsaw music department have been working hard to adapt and find innovative ways of engaging students even in a virtual environment. Over the past few weeks the year 2 classes have been working on a new music unit entitled, Sing, Sing, Sing. In this unit they have been learning about how to use their voices, the importance of breath control and good posture, and basic concepts of pitch and melody. These classes have not only been theoretical, however, and all of the year 2s have been learning a seasonal song, Jingle Bells.

Even though the TBS Warsaw family won’t be able to meet in person this holiday season, the year two music students won’t let that stop them from spreading the holiday joy. Here are some of the highlights of their lessons so far.
