Message from our Head of Early Years

The children have come back from half term with lots of enthusiasm ready to start learning this half term.

This week, we had a spaceship crash into the school playground. The children in Year 1 became investigators and enjoyed trying to figure out where it had come from and who may have flown the spaceship. It was great to hear so much chatter in the corridors about what could have happened. It was a great start to the children reading the story Beegu in English.  Reception thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Wilanow Palace. They got to wear traditional clothes and they were very surprised with how small the King’s bed was.

In Nursery and Pre-Nursery the children have started to learn about transport and have enjoyed singing songs. It has been interesting to find out what they already know.

Thank you to the PTA for holing their coffee morning on Tuesday. The book sale and second hand uniform sale was very useful. I look forward to seeing you at the next Parent Voice on 5th March at 9am.

I hope you have an enjoyable weekend.
