What has been impressive is the response of our whole community. Student attendance and participation has been excellent and the teachers have excelled in ensuring that lessons have been engaging, valuable yet fun and as creative as possible. You will see in this newsletter, plenty of examples of our community coming together to ensure the continuity of education for our students be it from teachers, IT support, admin and logistic staff, students or you, as parents. What these challenging times mean is that we pull together and keep moving forward together; the learning doesn’t stop.
I will be sending out a survey to all Secondary students on their school email to gather some more information on the first week’s experience. Our intention is to remain continuously informed so that the teachers have feedback which can be used to adapt, improve or maintain their approach to these online lessons and we thank you in advance for taking the time to complete any surveys we send.
My thanks go to our incredible students and teachers for rising to this challenge; feedback so far has been very positive but we’ll take it any which way it comes if it helps us deliver the best online learning experience.
Have a wonderful weekend.
