The children started the week with a music enrichment lesson, which they thoroughly enjoyed. They listened to different rhythms and danced and played the drums.
There has been a great deal of dressing up this week at Dab. Year 1 gave very accurate weather reports on Tuesday in IPC. The costumes to present the weather were very appropriate and they had the opportunity to develop their presenting and listening skills. In Reception today the children finished their topic on ‘Once upon a time’ with a ball. They have been learning how to dance this week in preparation for this. They children all looked fantastic, thank you for all your support with this.
Thank you to all those that came to Parent Voice on Thursday. We look forward to seeing you next week at the gross and fine motor skills workshop on Wednesday. We will be celebrating Sport Relief next week with a bake sale on Thursday and dress in ‘red’ on Friday with a variety of sporting events going on throughout the week.
I hope you have a relaxing weekend.
