Message from Head of Early Years

This week was Book Week and it has been fantastic to see so many of the children and families sharing their favourite stories and nursery rhymes.

It was great to see so many of you dressed up on Thursday. Thank you parents for your help. Stories are incredibly important and can be a great way of introducing new language to children.

This can be done through the use of pictures with younger children. I hope you have enjoyed listening to all of the stories and poems this week as much as the teachers had done sharing them with you.

Next week the teachers will start to hold live sessions with children using ‘Zoom’. If you have any questions about this please ask your child’s class teacher. The teachers are looking forward to seeing the children and hearing their news.

Thank you for your continued support. I hope you have a relaxing weekend.
