For the last few days in Polish lessons we have studied a book called “Bajki robotów” by Stanisław Lem. It is a science fiction book that is made up of many stories about Robots.

The students task was to make a comic book. Students were asked to select a story, and then turn it into a comic book.  Students could use a computer program or their own artistic skills. It was a very cool project because it was something different to what students had done in other lessons.

In the meantime in Year 7...

Students conducted a lesson about the radio,  they learnt about the work required at a radio station. Then students chose their favourite book: fairytale, story or novel,  and chose an extract and wrote a radio script based on the extract. Some students engaged the whole family in the recording process and produced amazing broadcasts based on literature.
