Message from the Head of Early Years

I hope you all had a peaceful Easter holiday. I know the teachers missed the pupils over the Easter period.

This week, we have launched a ‘help desk’ on Zoom in Year 1 from 10-12 daily so if you have any questions regarding the children’s learning please do not hesitate to drop into the help desk and ask. Next week we will be increasing the amount of Zoom sessions on offer for the children. There will now be daily Zoom sessions in all year groups. The daily ‘help desk’ will continue in Year 1 and in Early Years we will have two more additional zoom sessions focusing on story time. We look forward to seeing as many of the children as possible.

This week has been a busy week of learning. The mathematics tool boxes that the children created in Reception were great and will help them when solving addition problems. It was great to see the children making cookies in Pre Nursery, they looked delicious. It sounds like you enjoyed making them.

I look forward to answering your questions at Parent Voice next week. Please can you send me your questions using this form.

I hope you have a relaxing weekend and we look forward to seeing you next week.

Kay Parker McMahon
