Message from the Head of Early Years

This week has been another busy week both on the Campus and Virtually.

Parent Voice DAB

We held our first Parent Voice sessions in Polish this week. We find the Parent Voice sessions incredibly valuable and they enable us to adapt and make our provision better, it also gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Next week we will hold the Parent Voice sessions in English. We look forward to seeing you there.

We have welcomed more children back to the campus this week, they have been excited to return, to see their friends and the staff. I will continue to send the email out on Wednesday asking if your child would like to attend school for the following week. This form will close every Thursday at midday.

This week the children in Nursery and Pre-Nursery have enjoyed learning about flowers. They have been very creative and made their own flowers. In Year 1 the children have been learning about synonyms and adjectives so that they can make interesting word choices. In Reception the children have been learning about caterpillars and other mini beasts.

We are continuing to develop out Virtual School Experience. This week Year 1 have launched another Zoom session during the day. The children now have a reflection session at the end of the day. From next week we will also be offering 1:1 sessions for the children that remain in virtual school. The class teacher will be able to provide you with more information about that.

I hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

Kind regards,

Kay Parker-McMahon

Head of Early Years
