Over the last two weeks we have hosted parent voice sessions online as part of our drive to continue to use feedback from parents (and students) to help us better improve our offer.
- 6 sessions for our Dabrowskiego parents in both Polish and English, hosted by Mrs Parker McMahon with Year Group leaders, Dr Latkowski (Vice Principal and Polish Speaker) and I attending.
- 10 sessions for our Limanowskiego Primary parents in both Polish and English, hosted by Mrs Prabhu with Year Group Leaders, Dr Latkowski and I attending.
- 7 sessions for our Limanowskiego Secondary parents, hosted by Mrs Fox with Year Group Leaders, Dr Latkowski and I attending.
When we have previously held parent voice sessions in school, during the working day we have typically had between 5-10 parents attending from a mixture of year groups in Primary or Secondary.
We have been delighted by the attendance rates at these online parent voice meetings where we have seen up to 20 parents on line representing just one year group at a time. The questions asked at these meetings have given us an excellent insight into what areas of concern parents currently have and parent observations and suggestions for improvements have been really constructive.
You may remember that you were asked to complete a parent survey just before the Easter break which we used as a foundation for building and developing our provision over Easter. We would now like to ask parents to complete another survey to help us to continue to develop our online provision whilst also now starting to look at what an augmented school model would look like- one in which children and staff are working and learning both in school and also at home synchronously. You will receive the survey invitation later this afternoon via a separate email. The closing date and time for completing the survey is 23:59 on Sunday evening.
I wish you all a safe and restful weekend.
