starting with our Chemists who will begin their Internal Assessment experiments which will eventually form 20 percent of their final IB result. Speaking to the students, I know how much they have missed school and I know our staff too are keen to start working in a controlled and safe “real” environment once again.
We have planned our additional Year 12 activities to ensure that we maintain the excellent learning that is taking place in the virtual school environment, while extending the opportunity to subjects groups on a weekly basis, the chance to do these important experiments in our school labs with the support of our staff. A school is really just an empty lifeless shell without students and we very much looking forward to the IB building being “alive” once again.
