Are you enough of lockdown and cooking in particular? Do you feel that much of what you cook gets wasted at the end? If you have at least one affirmative answer to these questions Pre-IB English class can give you some delicious  budget tips that will certainly turn you into a much better, faster and enviromentally friendly cook.

As part of their English syllabus, Pre-IBs have recently studied some 21st century non-fiction texts, one of which included an extract from a cookbook titled A Girl Called Jack. In her website (www.cookingonabootstrap.com) Monroe offers an abundance of budget recipes that are quick to prepare and yet yummy to feast on.  Not only did Pre-IBs learn new words and a new text type in English thanks to this task, but they have also exhibited their talents in the kitchen – a skill that will serve them well in the future. I would like to particularly thank Anastasia, Matilda, Kim, Lan Vy, Oliwia, Daniel, Paulina, Agnieszka and Anna Maria for their mouth-watering contributions.
