Message from our Head of IBDP

As Poland starts to ‘open up’ a little more, one of the recent changes to the lockdown guidelines has been the ability to hold gatherings of up to 150 people.

For the school, this means that with certain parameters in place we could hold an in-person IB graduation event here at school. I met with the students online this week to discuss this, and currently as I write they are mulling this over with their parents and voting on one of three possibilities. More on this next week.

In other IB areas the Year 12 Scientists were welcomed back with open arms this week and it was really great to have them back in the building, working on their Science IAs and getting to grips with being back in school.

Finally, we have decided to continue with the Friday Community Quiz that happens every Friday morning during period 2. It has been a great vehicle to bring all year groups together and has been one of the really good things to come out of the switch to the virtual school environment.

Stay safe and well, and keep washing your hands.

Mr. Matt Lennon

Head of IBDP
