How we express ourselves

Year 1 got ‘all dressed up’ as part of an amazing entry point on the afternoon of Tuesday 15th September.

The children celebrated their identity and nationality by wearing national dress and national colours to represent the pride we have in our home countries.

Before taking to the catwalk we talked about the ways in which we could sort and group ourselves to support our Mathematics weekly focus.

As part of our focus on well-being and mindfulness we also recognised and discussed how what we wear can have a really positive impact on how we feel.

We hope you will join us later for our exit point when we will celebrate and adopt dress and culture from other countries.
