Year 4 - The Benefits of International Diversity in the Classroom

Just being in a class with peers from all over the world gives our students a great advantage and preparedness as they step into the future.

One of the advantages our students have is the ability to befriend, interact with and learn from a wide range of diverse international peers. This provides them with an automatic outlet that enables them to become more open minded and fosters much deeper learning within our students on a cultural awareness level. Classroom diversity fosters the international mindedness of our students and sets them up nicely to face a highly globalised and diverse world.

This week, 4 Braille, have been exploring the diversity of our class in relation to ‘Home’, ‘Host’ and ‘Heritage’ countries. As you can see, 4 Braille are in a very strong position as learners, as they have such a multi-cultural classroom!
