Our Community

When you join The British School Warsaw, you are welcomed into our warm and friendly community of students, parents and staff of more than 70 nationalities. Our parents play an active and supportive role within our school, and together our community can help you make the most of your life in Warsaw.

Parent Teacher Association

All parents become a member of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) as soon as their child joins the school. The PTA is led by the PTA Committee who work in collaboration with the school to organise monthly meetings, family events and fundraising activities. All parents are welcome to come along to the PTA meetings which provide parents with the opportunity to find out about upcoming events, and ask about any aspect of school life.

Class Friend Representatives

Each class in the school is represented by a Class Friend who helps both the Parent Teacher Association and teachers in disseminating information to the other parents in the class.

The Class Friend also ensures that any new children who join the class, along with their families, are introduced to everyone and made to feel welcome in the school.

Charity on a local and global scale

We are proud to support local charities in Poland as well as charities on a more global scale. Together with the PTA, we plan events throughout the year to help raise money for a variety of charities. In particular we have favoured those that focus on supporting children and their families who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Worldwide Learning and the Global Campus

As a Nord Anglia Education school, we are part of a global learning network. As well as becoming a member of our school community, your child will also join a diverse community of students in 27 countries worldwide. Through our Global Campus online platform, events and expeditions, your child will collaborate with others and develop a broader perspective of the world. They will learn how to make positive changes in their own community and beyond.
