English

English serves as the foundation of our curriculum and is characterised by ambition, creativity, and captivating content, utilising high-quality and diverse texts, which represent our international student population.

Our carefully tailored learning programme develops learners’ ability to speak, write and read fluently, allowing them to communicate their ideas effectively, regardless of their starting point in the English language.

Creative Curriculum

Our thematic Creative Curriculum encourages inquiry-based learning, merging multiple disciplines including Science, History, Geography, Art, and Design Technology.

This approach meets the objectives of the English National Curriculum whilst also aligning with the International Primary Curriculum's vision of developing globally minded citizens. By engaging with Sustainable Development Goals and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, students gain a deeper understanding of important global issues.

Mathematics

Mathematics is taught with a mastery approach, emphasising fluency, problem-solving and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. Where are your teachers from?

We only recruit the most highly qualified and experienced teachers. Our teachers are from native English-speaking countries. Most come from the UK; however, we also have teachers from other parts of the English-speaking world, such as Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. Our specialist language teachers are also native speakers of the language they teach.

My child is not a native speaker of English. Will my child be ok?

Yes! We have an excellent English as an Additional Language (EAL) Team who will support your child on their language journey. They'll help them develop the confidence they need to succeed at our school.

What afterschool activities do you offer?

We run a diverse extracurricular programme of clubs and activities throughout the year, including sports, dance, art, theatre, technology and science, and languages.

Do you provide a bus service?

Yes, our safe and efficient bus service covers several routes throughout Prague, serving all three of our campuses.

Do students wear uniforms?

Yes, our students wear a smart and comfortable uniform. The PBIS uniform instils a sense of belonging and respect, saves students time when getting dressed, and enables better focus in school.

Can my child join at any time?

Yes! Admissions are open throughout the year, and your child may join us at any time during the school year. Our staff are experts at helping new students adapt and integrate into our community.
