Trip to the UN Office in Prague and donation to UNICEF Students in Libuš had the opportunity to visit the UN Office in Prague. Michal Broza, the Officer in Charge, gave our students a talk on the work of the UN and some of the biggest global issues it is currently dealing with. The students discussed the effects of climate change and their role in advocating for sustainability.

Students in Libuš had the opportunity to visit the UN Office in Prague. Michal Broza, the Officer in Charge, gave our students a talk on the work of the UN and some of the biggest global issues it is currently dealing with. The students discussed the effects of climate change and their role in advocating for sustainability.

After the talk, one group of students then visited the UNICEF offices in order to donate the money they had raised over the school year. Altogether, the students were able to donate over 20,000kc, much of which was raised in recent weeks through our sports' day ice cream sale and Spirit Week pop-up stall.

Fortunately, at the end of the trip there was still time for ice cream to help us to cool down before the hot journey home. You can see some photos from our visit to the UN Office and our recent fundraising events for UNICEF below.
