TEACHER-LED TECHNOLOGY

TECHNOLOGY THAT TRANSFORMS LEARNING

Our teachers at The British School of Tashkent embrace innovation in and beyond the classroom, finding new ways to push boundaries and spark our students’ imaginations.

In our state-of-the-art STEAM Centre, your child will imagine a world of infinite possibilities, as they take on thrilling challenges that develop their curiosity, resourcefulness, and confidence. In the process, they’ll learn to use 3D printers, laser cutters, and top-of-the-range robotics and design technology equipment.

Your child will connect with Nord Anglia students in more than 30 countries around the world on our Global Campus learning platform, too. They’ll collaborate on one-of-a-kind projects – including music mentorship and pen-pal schemes – and immerse themselves in specially curated content from MIT, UNICEF, and The Juilliard School.

OUR TEACHERS LEARN FROM THE BEST

Our British School of Tashkent teachers go above and beyond to give our students the care, inspiration, and high-quality experiences they need to thrive. It’s only right that we offer the best development opportunities for our staff to learn and grow, too.

On the award-winning Nord Anglia University learning platform, our teachers share ideas with colleagues from across the world and complete hundreds of courses each year. They can choose to study for a Master’s in International Education through King’s College London, too. Our specialist subject teachers also benefit from expert training with MIT and The Juilliard School, ensuring they’re at the cutting-edge of their profession.

SETTING THE STANDARD

At BST, we set high standards. This means scouring the globe to recruit teachers who have extensive experience in top-performing British and international schools. It also means attracting those with globally recognised qualifications. At our school, one in four of our outstanding educators hold a Master’s degree.

Our teachers are also regularly assessed against local and national benchmarks, as well as Nord Anglia’s stringent Quality Assurance Framework. Rigorous background screening, a strong safeguarding policy, and criminal record checks ensure our students are safe at school. We’re also a member of FOBISIA and accredited by the Ministry of Uzbekistan, COBIS, Cambridge, and Pearson Edexcel.
