The school day is divided into three parts referred to as blocks, separated from one another by longer breaks (morning, lunch and afternoon). Within the blocks, regular breaks are included every 45 minutes which are used by pupils to refresh themselves, have a short break and get prepared for the next lesson.
The school day structure at our school, i.e. classes, breaks, etc., are fully in compliance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, while also being consistent with the school day at PBIS.
The content of the major educational subjects is based on the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Schools, while the British style of education, teaching methods as well as the individual approach to pupils, remains preserved.
Individual subjects are taught in Czech with the full support of the British curriculum. In this way, pupils naturally develop knowledge of their mother tongue, while acquiring adequate knowledge of the English language. Pupils may fully employ their talents and interests in an abundant number of events (e.g. drama performances, school shows, singing in the choir, art competitions, etc.) and clubs (football, floorball, singing, drama, art, etc.) organised by the school.
