There’s no limit of what you can achieve.
The years you spend at PBIS are a life changing experience for both students and their families. For many of our students, their journey to becoming confident global citizens began here. We care about our students future and do our best to prepare them to this journey. Below are some of our students success stories.
Zalla Mohmand Class of 2014
In 2018 Zalla graduated from the University of Vienna with a degree in Political Science, after which she completed a six month internship at the United Nations. Prior to that she had gained experience in smaller non-governmental organisations working for women’s rights and refugee rights. She has since moved to Berlin and completed her first year studying a Masters in public policy at the Hertie School of Governance. Currently Zalla is doing a professional year at the association of German chambers of trade and commerce (DIHK), before returning to her masters next year.
Nano Liklikadze Class of 2014
Nano graduated from St John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, in Maryland, and now works in the USA for the anti-corruption organisation TRACE International as a diligence associate.
Maneh Seiranian Class of 2016
Graduated in summer with a degree in politics, economics and international studies from the University of Warwick. She is now pursuing a 3-year Graduate Program in Information Risk Management (IRM) at KPMG. IRM is very similar to technology consulting, something of a departure from her degree subject, however Maneh wanted to get a taste of the tech industry so she found a program that would have a lot of training and at the same time allow her to use some of the skills she gained during her degree.
Jakub Priban Class of 2017
Jakub graduated from our school in 2017 with a highly impressive 45 points. In May that year 157,488 candidates sat the IB exams in 2,666 schools worldwide, but only 278 obtained 45 points: less than 0.2%, so Jakub’s achievement really was spectacular. He has just completed his second year studying computer science at Cambridge.
Lucie Skopkova Class of 2017
Lucie Skopkova graduated from our school in 2017 and is currently studying European Politics at King's College London. Recently, she spoke to our students about how the IB Core has enabled her academic success at university. Lucie studied Economics, English Literature and History at Higher Level scoring 766 in these subjects and 39 points overall in IB. Lucie has already worked as an intern at the Czech Embassy in London and she aims to pursue a career in diplomacy.
