How do I register my child?

Click on the registration form link at the bottom of this page, and complete the online form.

Can I register my child for specific days?

In order to help us manage the epidemiological risk associated with Covid-19, the children should remain in constant groups throughout the week. Therefore it will not be possible to register your child for individual days. Instead, children can only be registered for the full week's programme, although children can attend multiple weeks.

My child is 7 years old. Which camp should I choose?

This ultimately depends on your child and which programme you think will suit them best. The Summer Fun Junior programme will follow a more relaxed structure during the day and will include a higher proportion of creative activities.

Alternatively the Summer Fun programme for children aged seven and above will include a higher proportion of sports and physical activities that younger children might find challenging.

How will the risks of Covid-19 be managed?

In a change from previous years we have split the programme into two distinct age groups and it will only possible to book children on a week by week basis. Places in each group will be strictly limited. The two groups will run in complete isolation and will follow a unique, specially adapted programme, led by a dedicated team. This will ensure that the groups remain constant throughout the week and group sizes can be kept lower, meaning any potential Covid-19 infections can be isolated more effectively.

Whilst we plan to include some trips and excursions each week, we will be careful to avoid places where there is the possibility for unrestricted contact with others such as at parks, zoos, playgrounds and other public attractions. Any trips will be subject to the current epidemiological measures in force at the time, including the requirement to wear face masks.

We will maintain a rigorous hygienic regime for the duration of the camp with frequent disinfection of all contact surfaces. Hand sanitizer will also be available and children will be routinely directed to wash their hands.

Where do I drop off and pick up my child each day?

For children attending the Summer Fun Junior programme, parents should use the Kiss and Ride drop-off point at the front of the school. A member of the Summer Fun Junior Team will be ready to meet you at the front of the school and collect your child.

For children attending the Summer Fun programme, parents should use the Kiss and Ride drop-off point at the back of the school. A member of the Summer Fun Junior Team will be ready to meet you at the front of the school and collect your child.

Parents will not be permitted to enter the school building.

Will you be providing a bus service from the Vlastina PBIS campus?

In order to ensure the isolation of the separate Summer Fun and Summer Fun Junior groups, unfortunately it will not be possible for us to run a bus service from the Vlastina campus this summer.

What happens if a child becomes ill?

If a child shows any potential symptoms of Covid-19 during Summer Fun, they will be taken to an isolation room and parents will need to collect the child as soon as possible. Other children will be taken outside or to an alternative room if possible. Meanwhile the base room will be cleaned and disinfected. Other procedures will be decided according to the individual situation. Children can rejoin Summer Fun only with a doctor’s note stating that they are fit to rejoin the camp again.

What should the children bring each day?

  • Two clean, comfortable, well fitting face masks that fully cover the nose and mouth.
  • Comfortable clothing for a range of activities
  • Water bottle (clearly labelled with child's name)
  • Sun cream
  • Tick repellent
  • Backpack
  • A hat or cap is not necessary as each child will receive their own complimentary Summer Fun baseball cap, which all children will be asked to wear on trips so that we can quickly identify the children in the group.

If my child is injured can they still participate in the programme?

If your child has an injury that may prevent them from participating in some activities, please contact us in advance, so that we can discuss the possibilities.

If our plans change, how can I adjust the booking?

If you need to change the dates of an original booking we ask that you submit a new registration form confirming the weeks you would like your child to attend. This will supersede any previous booking submitted. Any changes to the original booking will be subject to availability on the requested dates.

If my child isn't a fluent English speaker can my child still participate in the programme?

Absolutely! Our team is experienced in working with children who are learning English as an additional language. Our programmes are regularly attended by children from a diverse selection of nationalities with varying levels of English. The focus of the activities is on pure enjoyment and team work. All sessions will include games and activities suitable for a range of ages and abilities.
