STA Community Sports Day

On Saturday, 18th November, we’ll have our second Community Sports Day, open to all of our parents, staff and alumni. We are starting to prepare for this now with our PTG, who will provide food for the event.

The day will be held at High School, with volleyball, football and badminton on offer, as well a free swim and table tennis for the kids.

We’ve had many sign up, with several football and volleyball teams and lots of badminton players. If you’d like to be involved in the fun, please complete the survey contained in the email from Miss Aanchal or get in touch with her.

Primary School Sport

Yet another busy week and weekend for our Primary athletes with BISAC athletics and the ISB Swim Meet. This week our busy schedule of sport continues with girls basketball, U10 tennis tournament at Patana and then the Harrow Bangkok Football Cup.

Athletics

Our Primary athletes had a great afternoon of athletics at their first BISAC Athletics Meet. It was fantastic to see so many of our Primary children competing for STA and working so hard to achieve their best. We had 1st places in the 800m & 200m, 2nd place in the 400m and 3rd places in the 800m & 100m. We also had 4 new school records set in the 800m, 400m and 200m. An exceptional effort from all our children. Thank you for the support from the STA parents.

As ever, our students had a great impact on the Games, both in terms of their sporting performances but also in terms of the way they represented themselves, their parents and the school. We are very proud of them all.
