As BISAC Season 1 kicks off, we look at some of the teams who will be beginning competitive action in the coming weeks.
Last week our BISAC season 1 teams began preparation for their upcoming season. The St Andrews International School Bangkok Varsity girls football team took 3rd place finish in the NIST Falcons invitational and our U13 Basketball players beat a touring team from the Maldives. Our touch rugby girls also attended the first open house touch rugby clinic at ISB, the event was held to help players and coaches develop their knowledge and skills of the game. Well done to all those who attended.
This week sees BISAC fixtures in Basketball, Football, Tennis and Volleyball - A special mention to our first ever BISAC Varsity Boys Volleyball team who will play TCIS on Tuesday evening.
We also kick off the wider sports programme, with all students starting their year round training opportunities. We are looking forward to seeing it all begin!
Monday 2nd September - BISAC Season 1 training begins.
Monday 9th September - Whole School, Sport & Swimming ECA's begin
Please stay up-to-date by joining our STA Flames & Marlins Facebook group for parents and students who are part of our Sport Programme.
Parents may post to this group and it’s been great to see some of your photos of our kids in action!
At St Andrews Bangkok, we’re proud to offer the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP)—a pathway that blends academic excellence with real-world learning. Designed for students with a passion for a particular career field, the IBCP allows them to gain practical skills, IB-level academics, and global perspectives to prepare for university and beyond.
With access to career-related studies, IB Diploma courses, and personal development opportunities, our students build the confidence and experience needed to take their next steps. Whether pursuing higher education or entering the professional world, the IBCP ensures they are future-ready.
Students at St Andrews International School Bangkok have begun an exciting artificial intelligence project: integrating Nord Anglia’s “Misty the Robot” with conversational AI model, ChatGPT. Under the guidance of our Head of Robotics, Mr Rob Parker, they recently presented their results to Regional Managing Director, Mr Shaun Williams, as well as the Board of Directors at St Andrews, with the proposition of growing this project as a collaborative research venture across Nord Anglia schools.
