A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this campaign to help the people of Klong Toey through this tough time. It's fantastic to see what we can achieve when we work together! Let's continue to find ways to help this community in need.

The St Andrews community unite to raise an eye-watering 559,400 baht (£12,520) in a creative way for our vulnerable Klong Toey neighbours. The Klong Toey area is buckling from the burden of COVID-19 infection, significantly affected by the financial downturn, leaving many families in very tragic circumstances.  Our students, parents, and teachers have all come together to make a difference.  Find out more below:

We partnered with the Bangkok Community Help organisation to lead the appeal to help the community of Klong Toey.  We chose to partner with this charity because they work directly with our Klong Toey neighbours, you can instantly see the positive impact they have on this area.

To help, our community began STAr Jumping for Klong Toey. For every single STAr jump completed, 10 baht (20 pence) or more was raised.

We raised a much-needed 549,400 baht to support this community that lives so close to our school. The money raised helped give free meals and care packages to families who were and still are in great need of a helping hand.

The donations have made a real difference to our neighbours in Klong Toey. Just 20 Baht (or 2 jumps) helped provide a hot meal to someone living there and a donation of 222 Baht is all it took to provide a care package that contains food and essentials to support a family for an entire week.
