Khmer class at Northbridge International School Cambodia is generally comprised of a fun, learning opportunity that allows students to share and express their knowledge within a Khmer-speaking environment, and Grade 11 is no exception in terms of this.
On the first day back to school, students were introduced to a new story titled “Master Harold and the Boys.”
Working as a pair, they were required to delve into the history of apartheid in South Africa, which is the main concept being discussed in the story.
After researching online pertaining to this system of institutionalized racial segregation, they will have to present their findings in Khmer during the next class.
