The first Southeast Asia region Nord Anglia Performing Arts Festival ends successfully, leaving wonderful memories in the hearts of participants! This event, organised in collaboration with the Juilliard School, is high-quality programme for talented young musicians to get together with like-minded students from schools in the region.
As promised in last weeks’ article, I am pleased to write that the students attending the HAC Basketball event at UNIS last Thursday, enjoyed their chance to test their skills against opposing teams from other Hanoi based schools.
To celebrate Tet this year, all Early Years and Primary students in the British Vietnamese International School, Hanoi have had a special Tet show. All the songs and dances that were performed demonstrated the cultural diversity of Vietnam with the aim of loving, widely promoting and honouring the traditional culture of Vietnamese people.
With the support from BVIS Hanoi, the "Le Chauffage Concert" (Sưởi Ấm) will be hosted on 5th January 2019 at The National Music Academy. You will be travelled away with music, joy, happiness and hope.
I hope that you all feel rested, having enjoyed your National Day and long weekend break. Another week has flown past, with the children busy both inside and outside of the classroom.
