Following the excitement and success of the music competition last year, it is now time again for our Primary students to display their musical ability. This competition is open to all children and for any instrument. The final will be split into several categories to recognise the passion and technical ability of our musicians.
Children will need to register to participate in the auditions and must register for the event, by filling in this form no later than Friday the 1st March. We can then organise the auditions to be held in ECA time on Thursday 7th March. Auditions should be no longer than 2 minutes. Children can play just a section of their chosen piece.
Chosen finalists in two categories (Intermediate and Advanced) will be notified the week commencing 11th March and the children will then have two weeks to practice until the grand final on Thursday 21st March 3pm-4.30pm. More details will follow, but do put the date in your diaries as we would like to see as many parents as possible supporting the children and enjoying the music on show.
