Parent Academy: Seminars, Advice & Support

The Parent Academy is a welcoming space where parents can share their experiences and meet with professionals in a friendly atmosphere. The seminars are free and open to all parents in the community, including those who don’t have children at Collège du Léman. We’ll be happy to meet you and get to know you at our next event.

  • Parent Academy - Collège du Léman

The Parent Academy is a program of seminars and discussions that started in the fall of 2016, enabling all parents to benefit from practical support and advice. This initiative, launched by Collège du Léman, calls on professionals who are recognised in their fields of expertise to present and discuss current themes in the field of education.

The Parent Academy is a dynamic community that aims to help parents to deal with raising their children, to better communicate with them and to better consider them to make them responsible future citizens.

The third seminar took place on Tuesday 28 February. The topic was "Educating teenagers in the 21st century - the new codes".

Dr Olivier Revol is the author of numerous scientific publications concerning intellectual precocity, hyperactivity and school difficulties. Trained as a child psychiatrist, Dr Revol runs the neuropsychiatry department for children and teenagers at the University hospital of Lyon. He has been militating for 30 years so that every child may discover the pleasure of learning. Dr Revol currently helps his audiences to understand the new codes of teenagers and of young adults generation Y (15-35 year-old) and generation Z (born after 2000).
