A morning with MCF friends

On Thursday we had 30 friends from MCF (Migrant Children's Foundation) schools visit us for the morning. They joined Year 3 for three amazing activities.

First they were put in groups to undertake a series of team-building activities which required collaboration and teamwork. Following a snack, they were all lucky enough to then have a workshop with Ross Jennings who had flown in from the UK to share his passion for the bagpipes with the students here at BSB Sanlitun. Luckily Ross grew up in Shanghai so was able to share his passion in both English and Chinese - amazing!

Finally Year 3 worked together to decorate cupcakes using ingredients provided by our wonderful PA. It was such an exciting morning for all the children involved and a wonderful opportunity for them to meet others from different backgrounds and cultures.

Many thanks to everyone involved in making the morning so successful and we look forward to the next visit from our MCF friends.
