This purpose-built school caters for children aged 2½ years old until 6 Years old (Pre- Nursery through to the end of Year 1 in the British system). It is staffed by a team of highly effective and well-qualified teachers who are specifically trained to teach the youngest members of our school community. Children then have a smooth transition to our main campus in Limanowskiego, near the Wilanow area of Warsaw.
Our Early Years Centre is designed around a central hall, with classes grouped by age. Every classroom is fitted with an interactive whiteboard. Technology for learning is a key element in our provision and this is integrated into our curriculum. To support this, amongst other equipment, we have an of i-Pad trolley and laptop computers linked to our wireless Internet system to ensure that technology is accessible to our young learners at the right place and the right time to meet their needs. Our specialist Physical Education and Sports teacher uses the gymnasium hall and our outside pitch and spacious play areas to enhance the physical development of our students. We have a specialist teacher for Music who has his own music room, equipped with piano, classroom instruments, a sound system and various other equipment to enhance the creative and expressive development of our students. Our class teachers are supported by a specialist English Learning Support teacher as well as a Learning Support Teacher who help to accelerate the learning of our students who require extra support.
A substantial investment has been made to our outside playground facilities and we now boast state of the art play equipment and a purpose built outside classroom to facilitate our continuous provision programme, which is an integral part of the learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage. These outside areas are used to enhance the educational opportunities and play activities for our children.
