Nord Anglia Education, the world’s leading premium international schools organisation, announced today that it is a sponsor of the Pearson National Teaching Awards in the United Kingdom.
Reflecting its leadership in technology-enabled education, Nord Anglia Education is sponsoring the award for ‘Digital Innovator of the Year’, which recognises educators’ innovative use of technology to significantly improve teaching and learning outcomes.
With more than 10,000 educators teaching in 69 schools around the world, Nord Anglia is also pleased to sponsor the award for ‘Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School’, celebrating outstanding secondary school teachers in the UK. Silver award winners will celebrate at the House of Commons later this year, while Gold award winners will be announced in October at a prestigious award ceremony and on the BBC’s The One Show.
In addition to these two awards, Nord Anglia Education is also supporting the National ‘Thank-a-Teacher’ Day in June, where students, parents and public figures are encouraged to thank educators who have made a big difference in their lives through the Thank a Teacher Campaign. The Silver Award winners will also be announced in schools across the UK on ‘Thank-a-Teacher Day’.
