Message from the PTA

Welcome Back, and to the newbies, hello and welcome!

Summer holidays went quickly, and we know that you got to meet up with family, friends and visit some amazing places too. It was enjoyable to see the children reading whilst on holidays as part of the school reading project. ​

Orientation Day and Welcome

Well it was a very busy one for the PTA, so lovely to meet new parents and children joining the school and to see the exisiting ones that attended too. The wonderful PTA volunteers who kindly helped to welcome, answer lots of important questions, direct and sell secondhand uniform are thanked, it makes the all difference and is such a positive way to contribute to our fantastic school.​

Let's meet up, do some great things and have a great time together

As a parent you are part of the PTA already. We put on events to support students, teachers and parents alike. Some are based at school and, just starting this year, some will be held off-site in and around Abu Dhabi. ​

PTA Welcome Coffee Morning - 10th September

We look forward to seeing you all at our future events, with the calendar coming out soon. The first to mark in your diary is the PTA Welcome Coffee Morning held on Tuesday 10th September 8:00am at The Hub (top floor of the school). Tea, coffee, cake and chat will be available at this morning, and it is a great way to reconnect with friends you haven't seen over the summer and to make new ones too.​

Secondhand Uniform appeal and thanks

Best planning in the world  - you thought they would last another year into last year's uniform, but they grew over the summer etc. etc?! You can recycle uniform by gifting it to the PTA to sell and raise funds for school projects. Simply bundle up old uniform in a bag and drop it by our lovely school reception. We had so many donations at the end of the school year, which we thank you for, but it would seem orientation was so popular that we still need more. Please spread the word, it really does help. ​

Class Representatives (reps)

A very important role is that of the class rep. The teachers will be much more hands on this year with this role, and it is a parent support aspect to assist the teacher in meet ups, school learning showcases etc. Check out our PTA Facebook Page where we have and will continue to post more information on this role.
