Clothes Appeal for Tanzania
Our next trip to Tanzania will be leaving on 16th November. In addition to the Year 10 students completing community work, we want them to take over a parcel of good-quality clothes. If parents could send any clean, unwanted clothes, baseball caps, or shoes into school by this Thursday 14th November, it would be greatly appreciated.
Clothes Appeal for Tanzania Students on this year's first trip to Tanzania returned yesterday after what can only be described as a ‘trip of a lifetime’. Our next trip to Tanzania will be leaving on 16th November. In addition to the Year 10 students completing community work, we want them to take over a parcel of good-quality clothes. Students on this year's first trip to Tanzania returned yesterday after what can only be described as a ‘trip of a lifetime’. Thirty of our Year 12 students worked so hard with members of the local community to help make a difference and bring about positive and sustainable change (more news on this will follow shortly).

Having witnessed firsthand the limited resources available to families, we are now asking our wonderful BIS Abu Dhabi community to help us make a difference to more people.

Our next trip to Tanzania will be leaving on 16th November, when our Year 10 students will return to continue to add to the BIS Abu Dhabi legacy. In addition to the Year 10’s completing community work, we want them to take over a parcel of good quality clothes. Good quality is important, as these clothes will probably be recycled for a considerable length of time.

We only have 2 days to collect as many items as we can. If you can send any clean, unwanted clothes, baseball caps, or shoes into school by this Thursday 14th November, it would be truly appreciated. Both adult and children sizes will be gratefully received. The drop off points will be at the main reception, and at the Primary entrance.

Please do not send in anything after this date, as the students would have departed and we will be unable to transport items.

Thank you as always for your support.
