We we are pleased to announce the school will be facilitating online safety workshops for students, staff and parents. Parent workshops will be held on Wednesday 4th March at 8am and 5pm.
Online Safety Parent Workshop As a school, we recognise the importance of ensuring our students are well rehearsed and resilient when it comes to online safety and we are pleased to announce the school will be facilitating online safety workshops for students, staff and parents. Children and young adults are over-sharing daily through direct messaging, picture messaging, social media, gaming and technology. With with the evolution of technology and connectivity they can also become unintentional victims via various digital platforms due to a lack of awareness and education.  

As a school, we recognise the importance of ensuring our students are well rehearsed and resilient when it comes to online safety and we are pleased to announce the school will be facilitating online safety workshops for students, staff and parents on Wednesday, 4th and Thursday, 5th March.
 
The workshops will be presented by Jonathan Taylor who has worked within Law Enforcement for 30 years and has specialised in covert online internet investigations, gaining a wealth of knowledge in online offender behaviour. Jonathan is a renowned Online Safety & Social Media Awareness Trainer for schools, nationally and internationally, and works as an Online Safety and Social Media Consultant for several organisations, including Nord Anglia and BSME.
 
Parent workshops will be held on Wednesday 4th March at 8:00am and 5:00pm.

The sessions will be for 60 minutes and tailored to the home environment, with a focus on social media and online safety issues and risks to children whilst using digital technology.  As parents and guardians, you will also have an opportunity to ask for advice and guidance about any related issues.
