Message from the Head of Primary

Before delving into this week's highlights and news, I want to warmly welcome all our new pupils and families who have recently become part of our fantastic school community.

We understand that transitioning to a new school, and in some cases, a new country, can be a challenging experience. However, please rest assured that as a school and a community, we are here to support you every step of the way. Many of us have been in your position before and we are committed to making your time with us a positive and enriching experience.

Now, let's celebrate the exciting start of the term with some excellent events that brought our community together. The Duathlon was a tremendous success, and I want to thank everyone involved in making it happen. The event was well-attended, and it was fantastic to see so many families witnessing the incredible achievements of our students, ranging from Year 2 to Year 13. Congratulations to all the athletes for their outstanding performances! The Duathlon showcased our students' competitive spirit and the sportsmanship and camaraderie that define our school community.

We hosted the Junior Swimming Gala this week, showcasing our students' impressive swimming skills. The competition level was outstanding, reflecting the dedication of our students and the support they receive from their lessons and after-school clubs.

Furthermore, our Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) have kicked off with an overwhelming number of children participating, offering a wide range of activities for everyone.

On a sporting note, I'm thrilled to announce the remarkable achievement of our staff cricket team, who secured a decisive victory last Saturday against Al Zeina.

Before concluding, I want to remind parents that the 2023-24 Parent Survey is open (the link sent to you on 5th January). Your feedback is crucial in shaping the future of our school. Your insights help us refine our approach and ensure we provide your children with the best learning environment.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and I look forward to sharing more exciting updates as we continue this journey of learning and growth together.
