BIS Houston shortlisted for TWO International School Awards!

BIS Houston shortlisted for TWO International School Awards! We're delighted to announce BIS Houston has been shortlisted for TWO prestigious International School Awards for 'Innovation and Creativity in Learning' and 'Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice', categories! BIS Houston is the only school in North America shortlisted from applications received from international schools in 61 countries.

The shortlisted schools have been announced for the International School Awards 2023 hosted by ISC Research. BIS Houston are delighted to be the only school in North America shortlisted AND have been nominated for not one but TWO prestigious awards:

 

Diversity, equity, inclusion and justice: This award recognises an initiative being implemented as part of a school’s strategic journey towards developing DEIJ (diversity, equity, inclusion and justice).   

 

Innovation and creativity in learning: This award recognises a school initiative that is being implemented that supports students in future thinking and creative innovation.

 

The International School Awards celebrate learning, teaching, community, wellbeing, leadership and other strategic initiatives at international schools. They provide the opportunity for international schools to share best practice, creative endeavours, community participation, and innovation.  Learn more from ISC here.

 

The International School Awards are highly competitive with international school entries from 61 countries this year. It’s a tremendous achievement just to be named as finalist, BIS Houston has a long track record of being shortlisted for many of these prestigious awards and look forward to sharing the final results at Award ceremony in January!
