Diwali, Festival of Lights Celebration

During Diwali BIS Houston students led activities sharing what, when and why Diwali is celebrated and parents led a celebration for the BIS Houston community with food, drinks and colorful activities.

One of the staff members shared rangoli sketching and painting, with story-telling about the festival of lights. The day is significant as it is important all students learn and celebrate our international diversity. BIS Houston is incredibly proud to celebrate the cultural diversity of our community of 70+ nationalities and bring to life and learning experiences that go beyond the traditional classroom.
