They say talent is a rare commodity; but with a total of 51 students making it through to the final rounds of BSN Idol this year, it’s clear that talent at BSN runs in the veins of our students! From perfection on the piano to dynamic drum solos, from sensational singing to some daring dance moves, this year raised the bar higher yet again.

In the morning, our Primary students had their chance to shine and they seized it with both hands, leaving the judges in awed and, in some cases, tearful with emotion!

Following that, our older, Senior school, students, had their turn, displaying the kind of stage presence you expect from global superstars!

As always, judging the range of talent to find the winners proved to be very hard, with 8 acts featuring in our two Top Threes (clearly maths was not the talent of the judges!)

The final selections, however, were worthy winners, with the judges remarking on Alice, Michael and Jerry’s emotional connection to their piano pieces, Henry and Yi Ding’s ability to get the crowd going with their drum solos, Isabella, Mary, Sherry, Alice and Quinnie’s confidence performing together after only recently picking up their instruments…  and this year’s Primary and Senior Idol winners -  Candy, who’s sheer exuberance on the dance floor was incredible for one so young, and Raina, whose voice quite literally stunned the crowded theatre with its emotion (and brought tears to the eyes of at least one judge).

Look out for the video highlights coming your way soon!
