Student from The British School of Tashkent excels on the stage for Constitution Day

Temurbek Askarov (Year 13) at The British School of Tashkent performs with the National Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan.

To honour Constitution Day last year, Temurbek Askarov (Year 13) had the incredible opportunity to perform the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo with the National Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan. His performance was attended by important government officials marking Constitution Day.

Temurbek is a dedicated musician and throughout his time at The British School of Tashkent, he has shown his musical talent in student showcases and performances. He is currently completing his A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Russian and hopes to study medicine and biomedical sciences at university. He has already secured offers from King’s College London, Queen Mary University of London and The University of Manchester, as well as Arizona State, Stony Brook in New York and the University of San Francisco.
