COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

We encourage our students to engage with local and global issues, to think about how they can make the world a better place, and to take action that makes a real difference in our community.

We strongly believe that BST pupils should get involved in life outside our school, taking action to make the world a better place. This is underpinned by our school ethos and pastoral work.

As a school community, we actively support several charitable organisations to bring about positive change. Our children and staff actively raise money and awareness for these good causes throughout the year. Fundraising events include our annual Winter Fayre and British Day Fayre.

Your child will also take the lead on community service projects. From our Bolanjor Park clean-up and volunteering at the Gavcheg Dog Shelter, to collecting toys for orphanages and donating essential supplies to residential care homes, our children develop vital transferable skills, as well as becoming socially responsible, empathetic, and conscientious young citizens.

Winter Fayre and British Day Fayre

Our Winter and British Day Fayres are an important tradition. All the proceeds from the days are donated to charity. Our last two events have raised over 39,000,000 UZS, thanks to our parents, students, and staff.

Gift donation

For the past three years, we've donated and delivered Christmas presents for children at the Scientific Research Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion. This is linked to a local charity supported by BST.
