I try to wander around the school as much as possible to meet students, to see classes and events, to support staff and hear from them what issues are on their minds. I seldom feel like I do it enough.

Last week in Art, Year 8 BVIS have had the most spectacular opportunity to collaborate with two British contemporary artists who live and work in Hanoi.

Vietnam National Junior YOYO contest – CANIFA DUNCAN CUP's final will take place at BVIS Hanoi at the end of May, 2016.

The UNESCO report identified 3 core conceptual dimensions of global citizenship education and we teach these concepts on every day of the school year.

The show will take place at 6pm in the BVIS main auditorium on Thursday 7th April. Tickets are free of charge and available to collect from the main reception.

Over the last half term, many Secondary school students have been competing for their houses in the Basketball competitions.

The students at BVIS have again showed how they care about our community and during the Christmas Market raised over 14 million VND which we have used to buy gifts for the Blue Dragon children for the Tet holiday.

Last weekend our BVIS Duke of Edinburgh Bronze participants spent the weekend in Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

This week has seen one of Britain’s most pioneering and influential performers of modern times, David Bowie, sadly pass away.

The challenge is usually taken by students in Years 12 and 13, but ten of our Year 11 students sat it this year. Seven students were awarded either a Gold, Silver or Bronze certificate.

As I write this, we are right in the centre of the CIS visit to determine suitability for the accreditation process.
